PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) –The FireKeepers Casino has announced plans to add a second hotel to the facility in Calhoun County.
Spokesman Jim Wise says the current hotel has been booked up since it opened and they think a second hotel would make the Casino more attractive for people traveling from Detroit and Chicago and greater distances away.
They think they might also be able to attract more conventions and conferences too.
They haven’t decided how big it will be yet or what the final design will look like.
It’s just a plan at this point. All the specifics have yet to be worked out.
