JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – A Michigan State Police trooper is being credited with saving the life of a baby Monday at the State Police Post in Jackson.
While on patrol, the unnamed trooper responded to a call of an unresponsive baby at the Post.
A woman went into labor and gave birth before reaching the hospital and the baby was unresponsive.
After the trooper arrived, the baby was found to have a pulse but was not breathing.
After administering life saving techniques, the trooper was able to get the baby to start breathing again and both mother and baby were unharmed.
