DETROIT (WKZO AM/FM) — It may not be the $522 million dollar jackpot, but someone in Detroit is still at least a million dollars richer.
A lottery player bought a Mega Millions ticket for Tuesday’s drawing in hopes of getting that major jackpot that was won in San Jose California, but when they lost the big prize they didn’t go empty-handed.
The winner matched the 5 balls drawn (01-02-04-19-29) to win the $1 million prize.
The ticket was bought at Dynasty Liquor on Puritan Street in Detroit.
The winner should contact the Michigan Lottery Public Relations Division to schedule an appointment to collect their big prize in Lansing.
