HOLLAND TWP. (WHTC-AM/FM) — Charges have been filed against Holland Township resident Jesus Salas Rincon, 46, accused of stabbing his wife and leading police on a chase last Thursday. July 26, 2018.
Rincon faces charges of assault with intent to murder, fleeing and eluding police and operating while intoxicated, according to Ottawa County Jail records.
He’s been arraigned before Holland District Court Judge Susan Jonas, accoridng to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Capt. Mark Bennett.
Rincon was released into police custody after being treated for self-inflicted lacerations to his neck, Bennett said.
The stabbing survivor has since been released from the hospital and is recovering at home, according to authorities.
