BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The eighth annual FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship will be held this weekend at the Battle Creek Country Club.
The tournament is part of the The Symetra Tour which is the official qualifying tour of the LPGA.
A total of 144 players will be competing in the first and second rounds before the field is cut for Sunday’s final round.
Ruixin Liu from the People’s Republic of China is back to defend her championship.
One of the highlights of Friday’s opening round will be an all-Michigan threesome.
Sarah White of Grand Rapids, Shasta Averyhardt of Flint and Gabrielle Shipley of Hastings are scheduled to tee off at 2:09 p.m..
