HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The man suspected of killing Port Sheldon Township resident Sherrilee McNeal on July 24, 2018, was arraigned Tuesday, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities.
Michael Scott McNeal, hospitalized since the incident, during which he allegedly shot himself as well, was released to the Ottawa County Jail on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018.
He was arraigned before Ottawa County Magistrate Vern Helder on open murder and felony firearms charges, according to the statement emailed by Sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Jake Sparks to media on Wednesday.
Helder denied bond; McNeal remains in Ottawa County Jail.
