LANSING (WHTC-AM/FM) — The Michigan Department of Transportation reports that 24 people died on Michigan roadways since last week, bringing the total to 592 so far this year.
Another 131 people were seriously injured in traffic crashes, for a statewide total of 3,276 to date.
Compared to last year at this time, there are 50 fewer fatalities and 353 fewer serious injuries.
