HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Kalamazoo resident Megan Mangione, 28, died in a single-car crash just before 3 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2018, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Dill.
Police found her in her 2003 Buick in a stand of trees off westbound I-96 near the 12 mile marker, in Crockery Township.
It’s unclear at this time, Dill said, what caused her car to leave the roadway and strike the trees.
No other vehicles are believed to be involved and no other passengers were in the vehicle, Dill said.
This traffic crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
