EAST LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Of all the new lawsuits filed in the Larry Nassar scandal before Monday’s deadline, there is one bombshell.
If true, it takes the timeline for Nassar’s misdeeds and MSU’s complicity back to 1992 when Nassar was still a Medical Student, and it alleges that former Athletic Director George Perles, who is now an MSU Trustee, engineered the cover-up.
Erika Davis, who was a field hockey player at the time, claims she was drugged and raped by Nassar on video tape, became pregnant, later miscarried, was stripped of her athletic scholarship, and the coach who went to bat for her was fired.
Perles has not responded to the allegation. She says they went to the police but were told she had to take it to the Athletic Department.
