UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM) — The Lake Express Ferry has canceled at least one round trip between Milwaukee and Muskegon for Friday Sept. 21, 2018. The online scheduling system is taking no reservations for today.
According to WZZM, one of the station’s employee scheduled to take the ferry on Friday received a voicemail saying the trip was off, thanks to high winds and waves on Lake Michigan.
The voicemail says passengers have a choice of rescheduling their trip or receiving a refund.
The National Weather service issued a beach hazards advisory, predicting dangerous currents, and waves as high as 10 feet along the Lakeshore today.
