KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Matt Longjohn held a news conference today to declare that he is indeed a medical doctor, and that he has been using his medical degree to work in health administration, developing programs and policies that are designed to help people get better healthcare.
He produced over half a dozen doctors from around the district to vouch for him.
Longjohn charged that opponent Fred Upton was using a Trump like smear, questioning his credentials, like Donald Trump did when he questioned Barack Obama’s birth certificate.
A complaint has been filed with LARA, the State licensing agency. It’s not clear who filed it, whether they have standing.
LARA has not yet taken up the complaint.
