ALLEGAN COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — Allegan County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man suspected of an armed robbery at the Clark gas station in the Village of Martin, 11 miles east of the City of Allegan.
The Allegan County Sheriff’s deputies were called for help at 8:40 p.m. on Oct. 15, 2018. Witnesses told police the suspect showed a handgun and held the clerk and manager at gunpoint during the robbery. After the suspect left the gas station the manager chased after the suspect. The suspect got into a vehicle and the manager of the gas station followed the suspect. The manager was able to follow until the suspect was stopped and taken into custody.
The suspect was arrested on suspicion of several felony charges. Name of the suspect will be released after he is arraigned.
