HOWARD TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Cass County Deputies are investigating to determine why a woman rear ended a tractor-trailer rig just before 6 pm last night at the intersection of M-60 and Pine Lake Road in Howard Township.
31-year-old Stephanie Lenex of Cassopolis was westbound on M-60, when the large truck slowed to make the turn at the intersection, and she rammed into the back of the trailer, totaling her vehicle. Lenex was rushed to South Bend Memorial for by ambulance for treatment.
Her condition was not released.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
