LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — The cash-poor campaign of Bill Schuette has cancelled all their TV ads outside of Detroit and more or less abandoned their Detroit Campaign Headquarters.
It was gated and empty the last time anyone checked.
The cancellation of $445,000 in ads follows campaign financial reports released Friday that showed that the Schuette Campaign only had $103,000 left in the bank for the final push.
The Schuette Campaign isn’t commenting on the reports.
MIRS news reports that the Whitmer campaign is awash in cash from donors who want to get on board while they still have a chance before the election.
