UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) — The candidates at the top of the state ticket rolled through southwest Michigan Saturday for the last time before the Tuesday vote.
Bill Schuette and John James stopped in Holland with guest Rudy Guilliani. Yes, the President sent his lawyer. Guiliani may have felt an obligation after referring to the Senate candidate as “Don” James, instead of John James in a tweet earlier in the week.
Gubernatorial frontrunner Gretchen Whitmer and Incumbent Senator Debbie Stabenow came to Kalamazoo with actress Alyssa Milano as their celebrity guest.
They visited the NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet, and then went on to local democratic headquarters to encourage volunteers making calls to voters.
The candidates plan many more stops between now and the events they hope will turn into victory parties Tuesday night.
