HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A winter-weather advisory is in effect from 1 a.m. Friday through 7 a.m. Saturday for Ottawa, Allegan and a host of other counties: Kent, Muskegon, Barry, Newaygo, Mason, Lake Oceana, Van Buren, Kalamazoo and Calhoun, according to the Grand Rapids office of the National Weather Service.
Expect to see 3 to 5 inches of snow accumulate, with winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
Drivers can anticipate slippery road conditions that will affect the morning through evening commutes. Expect snow-covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving, by leaving earlier, driving more slowly and allowing more room between your vehicle and others.
