OTTAWA COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — The violent death of 8-month-old Scarlett Rae-Marie Burroughs has devastated her family, friends, and strangers.
Her family members told WZZM that Baby Scarlett’s death will not be in vain — her organs were donated and may have saved as many as four other children.
A family friend set up a GoFundMe to cover Scarlett’s funeral expenses. According to WZZM, any remaining funds will be donated to spread awareness of shaken baby syndrome.
