BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Two Calhoun County 911 dispatchers who are also married to Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department deputies now face drug charges after an investigation that began this fall.
Both dispatchers resigned when they were confronted. Detectives got wind of one dispatcher’s alleged involvement during an investigation into narcotics trafficking and her name came up. The other dispatcher allegedly supplied narcotics to the first dispatcher, who is also accused of using the Law Enforcement Information Network to tip off a dealer he was being sought by police.
The pair face four and five year felonies if convicted.
