WEST MICHIGAN (WHTC-AM/FM) — The U-of-M hoodie bandit struck again Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018 — but didn’t get any cash.
Kent County police responded to a call for help at the Alpine Township Cash Store location right around 5:30 Wednesday evening.
And, once again, the suspect was wearing the now-familiar dark-blue University of Michigan sweatshirt as he tried to rob the store. But he didn’t get any cash, fleeing on foot. It’s the third such crime in the last month in Kent County alone — the suspect hit Holland Check ‘N Go last week and a Muskegon County lending retailer.
