JACKSON, MI — A Jackson father will face a jury trial starting November 1st in Jackson County on charges of felony murder and first-degree child abuse for the 2019 death of his two-month-old son, according to a report from MLive.
Police say Michael Glaspie allegedly beat Tristan Glaspie several times. The boy later died at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor on June 11th, according to witness testimony during Glaspie’s preliminary hearing.
The baby’s autopsy allegedly revealed 24 rib fractures along with a broken skull and leg. C.S. Mott doctors say the boy’s injuries happened several days before he was taken to a hospital June 8th, according to witness testimony.
