HARTFORD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Van Buren County man will be arraigned on several charges related to drugs and stolen items after a weekend arrest.
Sheriff’s deputies had received tips about suspicious activities at a property in Hartford Township. They identified the suspect and located him driving Saturday evening in the Watervliet area.
During a traffic stop, officials learned the man had a suspended license and multiple arrest warrants. They found meth, a taser, stolen license plates, and drug packaging materials inside the vehicle. At the man’s residence, authorities found a stolen trailer and camper.
The 36-year-old, whose name has not been released, was taken to the Berrien County Jail while the prosecuting office reviews the case.
