KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Meijer will be greatly expanding the footprint of their home delivery service this week in Michigan.
That includes Lansing on Tuesday, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and the Plainwell markets on Thursday. Meijer Spokesman Joe Hirshmugl says they started it last fall in Detroit and didn’t know what to expect, but it took off like a rocket and they have been expanding it ever since.
Shipt, the company that provides the service is still looking for people who want to be shoppers and do the deliveries.
The service just recently added alcohol products to the list of things they will deliver, if there is someone with the proper ID to take delivery.
