LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — The Army Corp of Engineers is set to release their long awaited Brandon Road plan to stop Asian carp from entering the great Lakes next week.
But there are no guarantees their plan will work, or get funding.
Governor Rick Snyder has launched his own Carp Challenge, putting up $700,000
for ideas from the public on ways to keep the carp at bay. Snyder spokesperson Anna Heaton says they will take any ideas, whether they have been field tested or are just concepts. The deadline for submitting the proposals is October 31st.
Send to InnoCentive’s Challenge Center through Oct. 31, 2017.
