KENT COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — A man who was involved in a series of unarmed robberies in West Michigan and Northern Indiana over an 8 day period earlier this month, has been arrested.
Witnesses and surveillance cameras have linked Jacob Savickas to a series of hold-ups at gas stations, convenience stores, fast food franchises and banks.
He was tracked to the Clarion Inn in Kent County and arrested by the FBI Violent Fugitive Task Force, where he has apparently spent the last week laying low and feeding his drug habit, according to police.
