LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The country’s best travel website for 2017 is the revamped Michigan.org.
The website that promotes the Pure Michigan campaign took top honors from the Web Marketing Association. Travel Michigan vice president Dave Lorenz says the redesign of the website was a critical part of elevating the marketing efforts of the campaign on a national scale. He says Fall has turned out to be a big season in Michigan somake those fall color tour hotel plans in advance.
“Now we will be promoting our Fall color updates starting this week at www.michigan.org and you can actually sign up for a Fall e-newsletter. We’re doing something fun with some photographers too. You’re going to be to tell these folks where they should go to take photos and you’re going to be able to get “real time” experiences in how the colors are turning. So if you follow us on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest at Pure Michigan, we’ll tell you how that’s gonna go.”
The Pure Michigan website was revamped last winter with a more personable feel and intergrates social media sites.
