BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – While the debate continues over National Football League player protests during the playing of the National Anthem, there was a truly patriotic moment before Wednesday night’s high school volleyball match between Coldwater and Harper Creek.
Some technical issues prevented the anthem from being played at Harper Creek ,so the players on both squads came together and sang it.
The moment was captured in a video posted by Harper Creek parent Jen Sackrider on Facebook.
The performance earned a huge ovation from fans on both sides.
