COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) – A female jogger who was nearly accosted by a man was able to stop him in his tracks with a well-aimed blast of pepper spray at a rural intersection in Comstock Township Saturday afternoon.
The victim told county deputies that the sedan, which had passed her ten minutes earlier was parked ahead of her at East MN avenue and 31st Street at about 2 pm when a male passenger got out of the car and ran after her.
Once she hit him with the spray, he retreated back to the car which sped away, south on 31st Street toward Kilgore Road.
The suspect is described as in his late 20’s with a medium build and curly brown hair. There was also a white female in the car, about the same age with straight brown hair.
The car is described as a black 2007 sedan with a white rear spoiler and white markings on the back bumper.
