ST. JOSEPH COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — The preliminary results of an autopsy conducted on the body of a 27-year-old found dead at the end of her driveway early Wednesday failed to identify a cause of death, and investigators hope toxicology tests will reveal what killed Kristen Littlefield of Three Rivers.
A neighbor driving by spotted the woman lying near the end of her driveway, her car parked nearby at around 7am.
It’s not clear how long she may have been lying there.
It will be a few weeks before test results are back.
State Police Investigators think it may have been a medical issue, they just don’t know.
They plan to talk to friends and relatives to see if Littlefield was having any problems.
