WASHINGTON DC (WHTC-AM/FM) – There is a voluntary recall of about 65,000 motorized infant seats from FIsher-Price.
The recall is due to the risk of a fire hazard. According to the The Consumer Product Safety Commission, (CPSC) they have received reports of Soothing Motions Seats overheating. In another report a fire was contained in the motor housing. So far no injuries have been reported.
The CPSC says the seats were sold from November 2015 to October 2017 .by Amazon, Walmart, Target and other retailers .
The recall covers seats with model numbers CMR35, CMR36, CMR37, DYH22 and CMR39.
