BATTLE CREEK, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Prairie Farms Dairy has a new product on shelves and it’s America’s first Milk Snack.
The Milk Snack Chocolate Cake Bar is made in Italy and distributed nationwide from Holland. Back in 2012, Prairie Farms which is the second largest dairy in the country, bought the Bareman Dairy distribution center located at Charles Drive in Holland.
Randy Van Liere is an Account Manager for Prairie Farms Dairy and says this is the first and only milk snack in America.
“It’s 21% milk in that snack and it;s a refrigerated snack, It tastes pretty much like a ‘Ho-Ho’ with creme filled in it. It’s chocolate wafers wrapped in milk chocolate with milk in the center. We’ll be distributing the milk bar to over 30 states.”
The Prairie Farms New Take on Chocolate Cake sweepstakes starts October 28 and ends on December 31. Each week 100 winners will be randomly chosen from online entries to receive a free coupon for a”free” bar. Five lucky grand prize winners will receive a Milk Pack Snack and $50 in gift coupons.
Van Liere says the bars are in stores now in the refrigerated section.
