OTSEGO TWP, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office is working with Western Michigan University’s forensic team to identify the body found on October 29, 2017.
Capt. Scott Matice says that the body had obviously been there for some time and they do not feel that foul play was a factor, suggesting they may already have an idea of who it may be.
Authorities say it may take weeks to positively identify the body because of DNA or dental records will need to be used.
The case is still under investigation and no foul play is believed to be involved in this death.
