MATTAWAN (WKZO AM/FM) — Two adults who were considered armed and dangerous have been captured in Mattawan after a shooting near Main Street and West McGillen Avenue.
A Mattawan officer reportedly wounded a female suspect just after 8am but two other suspects abandoned their car and fled on foot.
The woman was transported to Bronson Methodist for treatment.
State Police Lt. Dale Hinz says the other two, a man and a second woman, were captured after a manhunt in Mattawan.
Out of precaution, Mattawan Schools were locked down for security sake, including the high school and middle school.
