LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan Senate has approved that bill proposed by Senator Margaret O’Brien to rename the stretch of I-94 that passes through Comstock Township for Fire Chief Ed Switalski.
He was hit and killed by a wayward driver in June, while responding to an emergency on the highway.
The stretch of pavement from exit 80 to 86 would be renamed if the bill now also passes in the Michigan House.
