KENT COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — A woman was killed in what may have been an alcohol related crash in Kent County late Saturday night.
Deputies say that a 33-year-old man was at the wheel of vehicle that crossed over the centerline at the intersection of Sparta Avenue N.W. and Ball Creek Road in Sparta Township just before midnight, and struck an SUV head-on.
39-year-old Christina Kent was pronounced dead at the scene of the violent collision.
Four people in the SUV also suffered non-life threatening injuries, but required hospital treatment.
Deputies think that the at-fault driver, who was also injured, may have been drinking and have ordered blood tests.
He could face multiple charges.
