(CENTREVILLE) – St. Joseph County Prosecutor John McDonough says the suspicious death of a Sturgis man found earlier this week is now being called a homicide.
The Sturgis Journal reports 69-year-old Larry Eugene Frohriep was found dead by a friend at about 8:30am Wednesday morning at his home on Maystead Road just south of Prairie River Lake.
The St. Joseph County Major Crimes Task Force has been mobilized to take over the investigation.
Authorities are being tight lipped about the details of the death, but are asking for any information the public may have about the crime.
