KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM)– The economic numbers are positive for November and West Michigan Industrial Economist Brian Long says he sees no reason why the good times should not continue to roll right through 2018.
He says next year could be the best we have seen in the decade since the Great Recession.
Buoying that notion is the optimism among republicans that they can still hammer out a tax reform plan that will mean tax savings for businesses.
Dr. Long says Auto industry sales are flattening out and west Michigan Parts makers are concerned.
He says the Capital Equipment industry also appears to be plateauing, and yet there is a lot of optimism because of the tax reform legislation.
