MISSOULA, MT (WTVB) – Skeletal human remains found in Montana might be linked to the case of three boys missing from Lenawee County for over seven years. Andrew, Alexander and Tanner Skelton have not been seen since Thanksgiving in 2010. Their disappearance prompted a search that stretched into Ohio and Indiana.
Michigan State Police are asking for more information from police in Montana about the remains, which were discovered in a shed in Missoula.
DNA testing is being done on the remains, which were of children between two and ten years old.
The boys’ father gave them away the day after Thanksgiving in 2010.
He is serving up to 15 years in prison for unlawful imprisonment in the case.
