Former first round pick for the Tigers gets his first MLB start tonight

ANAHEIM, CA (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers begin a four-game series against the Los Angeles Angels tonight.

Detroit pitcher Matt Manning makes his MLB debut in the opener against L.A. hurler Shohei Ohtani.

Manning was a first round pick by the Tigers in 2016 and is rated as the team’s number three prospect.
