PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Asphalt trail maintenance is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 15, according to an announcement from the City of Portage Monday.
The two trails affected include the following:
- Schrier Park Trail (main asphalt walkway to wood chip trail),
- Shaver Road Multi-use Trail (Portage Industrial Cul-de-sac to South Westnedge Park baseball diamonds).
The Multi-use Trails will be closed during the maintenance process and are expected to be open for full use by 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 17.
Trail users are asked to seek an alternate route during the work time.
