(Reuters) – A tropical depression in the Pacific ocean has intensified into a storm named Carlos, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Saturday.
The system is located about 1,225 miles (1,970 km) southwest of the southern tip of Baja, California, packing maximum sustained winds of 40 mph (65 kph), the NHC added.
