BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s Defence Ministry on Tuesday denounced a brief weekend visit by three U.S. senators to Chinese-claimed Taiwan on a U.S. military aircraft as a “vile political provocation”.
“We are resolutely opposed to it,” the ministry said.
