DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers are down two veterans after designating outfielder JaCoby Jones for assignment and placing relief pitcher Michael Fulmer on the 10-day injured list.
Jones was DFA’d to open a spot on the 40-man roster for pitcher Jason Foley, who joined the team yesterday in Chicago.
Fulmer is out with a right shoulder strain.
Staring pitcher Spencer Turnbull was placed in the Injured Reserve list Saturday with a right forearm strain.
