LANSING, MI — Capital Area District Libraries is reinstating in-person browsing as the next step in the re-opening plan for the library system.
Larger branches will offer walk-in service while smaller ones will require appointments. Browsing appointments will be limited to 30 minutes, with a limit of three people per appointment. Capacity will be enforced at the door, according to Scott Duimstra, Executive Director of the Capital Area District Libraries.
Capital Area District Libraries’ popular Library of Things collection is also back. You can borrow things like Chromebooks, IPads, lawn games, hotspots, bus and zoo passes, telescopes, metal detectors and more. There’s no rental fee or deposit. You only need a library card. Visit cadl.org/things.
