CALHOUN COUNTY (WKZO-AM) — Sheriff’s deputies in Kalamazoo County say suspected counterfeiters from the Chicago area are jailed on a series of felonies after an over 20-mile vehicle pursuit on eastbound Interstate 94.
Officers failed to pull the vehicle over near mile marker 81 after 11 p.m. Wednesday. It was stopped after hitting spike strips near mile marker 100 in Calhoun County.
The occupants then fled on foot near I-94 and 9 Mile Road.
A Kalamazoo County tracking dog found articles of clothing and a loaded gun. A Calhoun County tracking dog found the suspects.
