DETROIT (WKZO) — The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to review a lawsuit seeking to overturn Michigan’s same-sex marriage ban on Friday.
The review of a Hazel Park couple’s federal lawsuit will reportedly be done along with other same-sex marriage cases from Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee. April DeBoer and Jayne Rowse are challenging the constitutionality of Michigan’s ten-year-old same-sex marriage ban.
Following the review, the court can do one of three things; take up the case, not take it or put it over for review until next year.
