LANSING, MI — The Lansing School District has named Sergio Keck the Interim Deputy Superintendent for the district. Keck replaces Dr. Delsa Chapman who has been named Deputy Superintendent for the Michigan Department of Education.
Keck has served as the Executive Director of Special Populations and Community Outreach for the Lansing School District. His areas of supervision included: Community Outreach, Bilingual Education, Preschool Services, Indian Education, Adult Education, the Ingham County Youth Center, and the Dr. Evans Welcome Center.
“Sergio is a well-known public servant in the Lansing community and has a long successful history of dedication to education initiatives and success in the Lansing School District,” said superintendent Sam Sinicropi. “Sergio will help make a smooth transition to a new district administration.”
