MT. PLEASANT (WKZO) — Michigan’s often-controversial Republican National Committeeman is pushing aside a new push for his resignation.
Dave Agema admits he posted racist comments on his Facebook page on New Year’s Eve regarding African-Americans, but told MIRS News that he was reposting material from a southern public defender and did not agree with all of it. The post was later removed from Facebook by Agema.
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, Michigan GOP chair Bobby Schostak and Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette have all called for Agema to resign.
