MOUNT CLEMENS (WKZO) — A Macomb County woman charged in the brutal murder of her son is headed to trial. Sixty-year-old Donna Scrivo is charged with first-degree premeditated murder, disinterment and mutilation of a body and removing a body without the medical examiner’s permission.
The charges are in connection with the January 2014 death of her 32-year-old son, Ramsay. Tuesday marked a third day of testimony in her preliminary exam and Macomb County Medical Examiner Daniel Spitz detailed how Ramsay died of asphyxiation due to strangulation.
Scrivo is set to be arraigned in circuit court on February 2nd.
