WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKZO) — A 43-year-old Warren woman will be among the guests of First Lady Michelle Obama Tuesday night at the State of the Union address. According to the White House, Tiairris Woodward was selected because of how she worked 17 hours a day at two jobs to support her three kids until landing a job at Chrysler.
The position paid enough to allow Woodward to only work one job and have more time to raise her children, one of whom has special needs. She saved money to buy a car, get an apartment and has started college classes through Chrysler’s Tuition Assistance Program.
