PORT HURON (WKZO) — Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette says police have stopped a murder for hire plot.
Michael Christopher Still allegedly tried to get a former prison inmate to kill his ex-girlfriend. Schuette says a letter written by Still to the former inmate was returned to the Ionia Correctional Center in April of last year.
The letter allegedly outlined the plan by Still who is in jail on unrelated charges. He is now facing a charge of homicide solicitation which carries a sentence of up to life in prison.
